New Picturesque Holy Land

The work deals with landscape and human scenes that take place in them. Prospects through which it is possible to examine contemporary cultural relations in connection with the past that we know from photographs and engravings from the 19th century.
These sights can liken to "conglomerates" (sediments that joined into rock) made of the local material - mounds of cultures loaded with fears and desires.

The compositions and tones of gray which characterize this series correspond to the aesthetics of the engravings made in Israel in the 19th century and printed in albums called "Picturesque Palestine."
