These photographs are glimpses of fading footsteps and fleeting moments which color my life. I collect these memories during the small hours of the night and just before sunrise when the senses are sharp and aware of that which is transient while the memory is foggy.
They are of great importance to me, and I try to record them before they fade. This way, I'm able to hold on to these experiences and find them in the maze of my memories.
Technical information:
I use the anaglyph technique because of the color reduction of the red-blue filters on my googles to receive the appropriate color palette. This combination of filters diffuses MUCH of the red and yellow colors which dominate the night photographs, while the eye does not sense these colors when it's dark.
Regular color photographs base on the RGB color channels, while these photographs base on GBB- green, blue, black & white channels. The B&W channel enables the description of dark and illuminated spaces.
(The photographs should be viewed with red-cyan/blue anaglyph glasses)
